The PJHS Quiz Bowl Team participated in the Quiz Bowl Camp at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville on Saturday, November 4th. Students were tested and placed on teams with students from across the state who then played one another.
Kathryn Cox was the top scoring ninth grader for the day. Cara Prince was the top scoring eighth grader, and Jude Johnson was named to the All-Camp Team. Congratulations to all!! ❤️💙

WAY TO GO PJHS RAM MOB!
PJHS dance team competed in the Southern Spirit Competition in Brookland today. They placed 1st in hip hop, 1st in pom, and 2nd in jazz. They received judges choice for choreography for hip hop and jazz and the overall high point award for hip hop. CONGRATULATIONS 💙❤️


Reminder there is no school for students November 6th. It is a teacher inservice day.

JROTC Trick or Treat is happening INSIDE Paragould High School from 6-8 tonight. Enter through the main entrance of PHS. Be sure to stop by the Beta Club table for some candy. ❤️💙🎃

JROTC is hosting the 2nd annual trick or treat event this Saturday, Oct. 28th. Due to the chance of rain, it will be held in the Paragould High School. Park in the main parking lot and enter through the main entrance. Open to the public and guaranteed to be SPOOKTACULAR!


A shout-out to all of the students who participated in the regional chess tournament on Monday, 10.23.23. Seven very talented chess players competed at the NEA Co-Op against 81 other students from schools in our region. There were 10 top places and 3 of our 7 ranked in the top 10. Paragould took home more trophies than any school there! WE ARE SO PROUD!

Wear RED tomorrow for RED ribbon week and make plans to attend Math and Literacy Night on Tuesday from 5-7pm. There will be escape rooms. YES multiple rooms. Painting with Poe (Edgar Allan), scavenger hunts, quiz bowl, and Dia de los Muertos celebrations...FOR FREE! Beta Induction Ceremony Reminder:
All Beta students will stay after school Monday, October 16th to participate in Beta Club activities and to prepare for the induction ceremony. Pizza will be provided. Students need to wear their nice clothes to school or bring them with them to change. There will be t-shirts for purchase prior to the ceremony.
