Eleven PHS Rotary Interact Club members attended Rotary Club yesterday at Paragould Country Club. They were fortunate to be there on a day when Rotary District Governor George Fray was there to present the program. He talked about the history and future of Rotary and particularly Rotary's involvement in community service. Since 1988, cases of polio have gone from 350,000 to 33 in 2018. Rotary has been instrumental in reducing the number of polio outbreaks. Currently, polio is a threat in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Rotary International will continue to work to eradicate polio worldwide.
