In 2013, the Arkansas Legislature passed a law requiring the state to adopt an A–F grading scale for schools. This accountability system emphasizes student achievement, academic growth, and college and career readiness when determining each school’s letter grade.
All schools in the Paragould School District demonstrated academic improvement this year, reflecting a strong, collective commitment to student success. This year, three schools in our district improved their letter grades, with one school making a remarkable two letter grade jump. This is a significant achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work happening across all of our schools.

Exciting progress is happening across the district as multiple construction projects continue to move forward with impressive momentum! The new arena is beginning to take shape, with block walls and steel structures now visible — a thrilling sign of what’s to come. Construction on the new baseball and softball turf fields is in full swing. These dynamic improvements are a powerful reflection of our district’s continued commitment to delivering top tier educational and athletic environments for our students, staff, and community.
